Koolhouse Publishing is on board as a sponsor to the 10th Anniversary of Chopperfest, a tribute to biker artist Dave Mann. The event is one of the largest and coolest bike shows in So. Cal.
We are proud to announce that we are coordinating the 2013 art and culture exhibit this year with a team of great folks and talent and we hope to see you at the Ventura Fairgrounds on Sunday Dec 8, 2013 from 9 am-4 pm in Santa Rosa Hall. We will have go-go dancers Sondra, Stephanie and Juliette in our exhibit and the gals will be in our booth along with Carly (the booth gal) in the main drag for a Meet and Greet.
Additionally, we will be judging the show and will award BEST BIKE for a future feature in Ol Skool Rodz Magazine. The trophy includes a handmade customized art helmet from bike builder Slim Cranford of SlimFab. (remember him? We broke him out in OSR a few years back and now he's one of the most sought after bike builders in California-we know how to pick them!). We are also scouting cool bikes for stories as well so you dont have to win the award to get in the magazine. Just bring your hot iron to the show.
Our Koolhouse exhibit entitled "SOUL: The Art and Culture of Motorcycles" will showcase original art works, biker jackets, customized motorcycles, helmets, a Barbie gallows called "Drop Dead Gorgeous," skate decks and more. We will even have a "kids korner" for the young 'uns to color motorcycle flyers and hang them up to display if they want too.
A special thanks to Tory DuVarney and Big Dave Hansen for putting on the best bike party in the LA area. Ride Free.
