The 2014 NHRA Winternationals at Pomona, sponsored by Circle K, Auto Club and Mello Yello was an ear splitting and bone shaking event. Attendees saw cars run over 320 mph with Alexis de Jora breaking the 4-second mark in her new car. The championship event tours the USA with a 24 -event season. On scene: Antron Brown, Matt Hagen. Cruz Pedregon and Ron Capps. A contingent of Junior Rodders and legends such as John Force and TV Tommy Ivo were also seen. Highlight of the event was a display of nostalgia cars parked in the midway. The only downsides are that ticket and food prices are too high, they need more nostalgia, more freebies and more of a half time show. Zoom!
