2015 Ventura Nationals

Highlights
This year’s car show had a great lineup of bands with tunes from Swing to Rock.  The pedal car/stroller cruise is an ongoing tradition; It’s the perfect way to entertain kids who get involved in event festivities and learn about automotive culture. Dedicated vendors offer an array of cool swag, while numerous car clubs display their finest automobiles making The Ventura Nationals a big party in the park. Kudos to the event staff for another great show.

Affordable Fun
This 3-day event actually starts on Friday night with an art show in downtown Ventura. On Saturday, the Ventura Fairgrounds host the main event from 9 am to 5 pm with a sleek sled raffled off by The Lost Angels Childrens Project.  On Sunday, Noble Fabrication hosts a BBQ and Reliability Run. Nearby lodging offers the opportunity to explore the local bowling alley, wineries and breweries. A visit to Mission San Buenaventura, the Olivas Adobe, Ventura Botanical Gardens or the Ventura Art Museum is a nice side trip. Sand, surf and sun are found nearby on local beaches or the Ventura Pier and Promenade.  Surrounding bike trails or water activities channel your inner athlete and best of all you can shop and dine locally after hours. Ventura on Labor Day weekend is the place to be.
